Not that I am one for celebrating the turning of the clock but here's a happy new year to you.?? What follows is a list of my favourite films from the past decade.?? There may not be the most aesthetically pleasing films but these are the ones that I have enjoyed the most.?? So here we are, in no particular order:

    Glad to see Zodiac and Taken in there. I was surprised to find that Taken received only one star in Empire. I mean, it has its flaws but I thought it was a really tight, effective action film worthy of some praise.

    Taken does what it says on the tin, I love it when Neeson says "I will look for you, I will find you, and I will kill you"…just awesome. It was either Taken or Rambo for my favourite action flick from this decade. Have you seen District 13 (aka Banlieue 13) by the same director, Pierre Morel? I bought the Blu-Ray from Amazon. His next film, From Paris With Love, looks unmissable if you like OTT action films:
