Adjusting to reality

I have been back for a few days now after spending the better part of last week in Beer, Devon. It constantly amazes how slow life is down there compared to the hustle and bustle of the city here in Birmingham. There really is no better place to relax than in Beer. It is a sleepy fishing village that is very quiet when compared to the popular British seaside towns. I would happily relocate there and spend my days taking in the beautiful views and sit on the beach reading a novel or two. Hopefully, in the none too distant future this little pipe dream might become reality.

Now, after several days on pure relaxation, I am having to adjust to everyday life and resume work on my PhD, prepare for the upcoming academic year and plan the next few episodes in the B1G Idea podcast series. It is really hard to adjust.
